Sisters and Spirit is owned and operated by two sisters in Winnipeg, Manitoba. The plan for this small business started coming to form in 2021 when we discovered our passion for creating adornments. Both of our lives have always been filled with the enjoyment of creating, whether it be music, art, sculpting, poetry, or photography.
Bri is an owner, constructor and designer of our jewelry; Grace is an owner, media manager and designer as well. Starting out as a creative outlet for Bri, this business has developed into something that connects us as sisters while also connecting the collective. Bri has Tourette Syndrome alongside Autism and ADHD. When you support our work know that you supporting a women owned and operated business as well as someone with a life-long disability. Any and all support toward our small business is very much cherished and appreciated.
Our mission is to encourage the healing of self in order to heal the collective. Using the possibility of creation to contribute to the highest good of all beings. Sisters and Spirit will continue to grow, our vision is to have multiple healing services offered through this business.
We acknowledge that the land on which we create and sell our products, is located on Treaty One Territory: the traditional land of Cree, Ojibway, Dakota, Oji-Cree, Dene, and Metis people. We also acknowledge that Turtle Island has been violently colonized for thousands of years. We, as a small business, do our part to stay educated about the impact of colonization and systemic oppression.
It is our promise to create products which will contribute to healing these ongoing issues and Mother Earth rather than worsening the conditions which we find ourselves in.
